Vijai Nathan
If you have not seen Vijai Nathan's one woman show, "Good Girls Don't, But Indian Girls Do," then you may as well not be living. Not only is it brillaint, hysterical and incredibly creative, its smart, witty and empowering.
In her show, Vijai defies what it means to be a traditional good Indian girl; she likes brightly colored saris, Madonna and has a fascination with sex. Vijai was never the obedient, sweet girl, but like the meaning of her name (Victory), she says she had a fire in her that she had to share with the world.
Best of all, Vijai likes Brown Man Clothing Co. apparel. Her picks? "Pimp My Ride" and the Vijai Nathan inspired "Shiva". For more information on Vijai Nathan, visit her site by clicking here. |
